Australia’s most illustrious vineyards of 2024 have been revealed in DL COMMS client Young Gun of Wine’s annual Vineyard of the Year Awards, and a female winemaker based in Australia’s cheap, bulk wine heartland has defied the odds, receiving one of the highest accolades on offer! Sheridan Alm of Starrs Reach Vineyard has been praised amid Australia’s cost-of-living crisis for her premium wine that retails for just $22 but boasts the complexity and quality of flavours typically found in Australia’s most famous wine regions that would usually sell for $40.

The fourth instalment of the highly respected annual awards has also revealed a young Heathcote vineyard bucking the trend by making Shiraz fashionable again, while one of the Yarra Valley’s oldest vineyards has been teaching itself new tricks to stay young at heart and top of its game. The awards also revealed why a vineyard 30 minutes outside of Adelaide has been crowned the best in all of Australia. Click the link to find out more.
