Endeavour Energy launches NSW's equal biggest community battery in Kiama

CLIENT: ENDEAVOUR ENERGY

Endeavour Energy and Kiama Municipal Council have launched the second community battery on the NSW South Coast helping Kiama locals take the next step in their clean energy transition.

The battery’s output is equivalent to 1,100 blows of the famous Kiama Blowhole (which produces 0.4KWh each time it blows). With 445 kWh of storage capacity, residents of Kiama Downs will be able to store and share solar, while supporting all customers by keeping a downward pressure on electricity prices.

Endeavour Energy's Colin Crisafulli spoke to regional TV network WIN News Illawarra to inform local residents about the battery and how to get involved. Click the link to find out more.
