A Swan Valley distillery has had two major wins at the international Icons of Gin Awards in London. Growth in the Australian spirits industry has exploded over the past decade, but Sarah Vallance reports there is still a long way to go.
In a modest Swan Valley shed, DL COMMS client, James Young, is making gin and history. Old Young's Distillery has now taken two major international awards at the Icons of Gin competition in London. The business has been awarded with the 'Craft Producer of the Year' and 'Brand Innovator of the Year' for its monthly gin subscription service called the Juniper Society.
