A fed-up Melbourne couple have turned their frustration into a business model bringing in $70,000 monthly, all while shaking up the way Australian women think about the hair care industry. ‘The Shade’ was formed after founders Craig Ford and Maia Dodds noticed Aussie women are taking up to four hours out of their day every 6-8 weeks to sit in a salon chair and spend $350+ per visit.
