Mysterious circles have appeared in parks around Chapel Street. The Chapel Street Retail Precinct and the City of Stonnington have painted up to 50 picnic circles spread throughout the iconic strip.
Many of Chapel Street's famous cafes have begun selling hampers to picnic goers who can venture out in a group of five after Monday's easing of restrictions. General Manger of CSPA, Chrissie Maus, said it was hoped the circles would give the area a boost.
"The main thing is building trust with out community and making sure they know as they came out of their homes and they get some sun, they can enjoy and support our businesses but also feel safe at the same time." Chrissie Maus said.
